friday fancies: honey dipped

So as I browsed to my friends' blogs, I saw that Ima made this cute post for Friday Fancies. And it just seems like something fun to do. So, I decided to join. And so, this is my first FF creation:

I don't know why it's called Honey Dipped. The idea just suddenly popped out in my mind and it seems like a good title. Probably because the color theme that I choose here is pastel and when something is dipped into the gooey delicacy of honey, it would look and taste sweeter. And the word 'sweet' really reminds me of soft colors. Ha, okay why do I even bother explaining my complicated thought?

So anyway, here are the list of the things I've put together:
1. Striped jersey tank - Team ALICE by Temperley, USD 54
Don't you just love the combination of white and blue stripes with the gold buttons? More than that, the tank gives an emphasize around the waist which somehow makes our body looks thinner

2. Basketweave pullover - 3.1 Phillip Lim, USD 325
I adore this top! I always have a soft side for open knit cotton sweater like this. And don't get me started on the color...

3. Ankle socks - Dsquared, USD 65

4. Khaki tab cuff shorts - Metro Park, USD 25
I was attracted to them the moment I found it on Polyvore. Very nice color, and the pleats give this shorts a touch of feminism in a cute kind of way.

5. Tossed bird modal-weave scarf - Marc by Marc Jacobs
For an effortlessly stylish look, try wearing cute scarves like this one. And I can't get enough of the salmon-pink color. Very very cute, indeed.

6. Chocolate washed faux leather satchel - Topshop, USD 36
One of my favorite kind of bags. Simple yet never out of fashion. Loving it!

7. Deena & Ozzy perimeter oxford shoes - Urban Outfitters, USD 38
I've always wanted to have one of these! I found one very nice oxford shoes in Zara but unfortunately, they were quite expensive so maybe I should just wait until they're on sale ;)

8. Metal and wood bangles - Avalaya Jewelry, GBP 8.50
Never got tired of the perfect combination of metal and wood bangles. You can practically use it with almost any kind of outfits and look great in it.

9. Nerd glasses - Good Hood Store, GBP 129
I personally think I won't look good in these shades. My face will look ridiculously round. So for those who are able to wear them, lucky you!

Thoughts?
