... yes, they have. And we are X-G Class of 2012 SMA N 8 Jakarta
The first official photo of X-G. Guess which one is me?
These people are super fun! I've had one of the best experiences with them. And even though at first we weren't that close, I think time has managed to create a bond between all 40 of us (awww). There's no way I could find these unique, crazy, loud, cool people in one class anywhere else!
So here's the deal. I'm a freshman in high school. On my first day of school after orientation week, I found out that I'd be studying in X-G for my first year in SMA N 8 Jakarta. I saw all these familiar (and not so familiar) faces and I started to wonder whether or not this class would work out. Especially on the first couple of weeks, it was very quiet and I could hear my own thoughts louder than the sound of my classmates talking.
But then we started to bond. The girls were finally talking together because my chair mate, Petra, had a not-so-secret admirer from another class and we also played a friendship/relationship test using my cell phone. And then, I started to realize that there's a person that looks almost like Mr. Barrack Obama, who was then voted to be our class coordinator. Yes, his name is Fahrur. Not long after that, I also found out that there's one guy that also looks like the all-time King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and his name is Rifqi. But since then we call him Jacko LOL. Later, other students also get nicknames like, Bang Gan, Babe, Bang Jen, Cepot, Anak SD, Bayi, Bandeng, Ayam, Yuyun, Sule, Bebek, Pipi, Mas Boy (guess who those people are!)
I remember once, our school held a break-fasting together and X-G's was in class X-D. We ate dinner together and we had lots of laughter and fun, then we took lots of pictures! Then there was also the big cinematography project, and even though it was a bit tiring but the result and the experience itself were surely worth it. OH and our class is probably the most "moveable" class in 8'2012, because in term 1 we were moved temporarily to AV IPS and now we're also studying in class XII IPA H. But no matter in which class we are, as long as I'm with X-G it's still fun!
We had lots of memories together, from the bad ones to the really great ones. If you want to read some of them, just type in the word #kenanganXG on Twitter search and you'll find lots of our tweets about those unforgettable memories! But I think the most memorable one is our class musicale, Thalia White. It was, I think, one of the best musicale ever the most fun things I've ever done!!! The making of the musicale itself had a lot of dramas hahaha but we got through it together :) And even though the rehearsals were way better than the performance (due to some technical difficulties) it was still a big success since we totally killed our song finale, Don't Stop Believing!
All those memories and I only got less than a week to spend time studying with them in class. Ugh, I always hate goodbyes. And this one would probably be one of the hardest. Cause like the title of this post, they have stolen a part of my heart (unyu). I'll always remember you guys, this class rocks!
